The BFG {Book to Movie}

Many of you might have grown up reading Roald Dahl books and probably read this one. Disney has remade the classic tale with all the technology we have now for movies.
I am pretty sure this is going to be amazing.

This magical movie comes out July 1st. It is 115 minutes and is rated PG. This will be a great movie for the whole family.

Captured by a giant! The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It's lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, the Fleshlumpeater, the Bonecruncher, or any of the other giants-rather than the BFG-she would have soon become breakfast.

When Sophie hears that they are flush-bunking off in England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

{Cast}

Ruby Barnhill as Sophie
Ruby Barnhill is relatively new to acting. She is from England and her only other acting is on the TV series the  4 O'Clock Club. She currently has no other projects in the works.

He has tons of movies in the works including Ready Player One (which we are reading for book club next month) that comes out in 2018, Dunkirk and The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara.

Bill Hader as Bloodbottler
Bill Hader has been in a ton of movies. He was born in Oklahoma and is married to Maggie Carey. You will remember him from Saturday Night Live, Superbad playing Officer Slater and Inside Out as the voice of Fear. He is in the new Finding Dory movie as the voice of Fish Husband. His upcoming projects are Empress of Serenity and The Something
Steven Spielberg {Director}
Steven Spielberg has got to be the most famous director of all time, at least that is what I think. What is your favorite movie he has directed? Is it: Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan just to name a few. He is also going to be directing Ready Player One which is also starring Mark Rylance. I can't wait for that one unfortunately it doesn't come out until 2018. Also in 2019, they are going to be doing another Indiana Jones movie. Yay, more movies from this brilliant director are in the works.
Are there similarities between this new movie The BFG and E.T.? Check out this article to find out how they are so similar.
