I was born during the height of a lunar eclipse, which instead of turning me into a werewolf, turns me into a blanket/book obsessed insomniac. But if you want to hear the "normal" stuff about me, here you go. I went to college to become a Secondary Ed. English teacher but instead ended up with a degree in Psychology. As much as I love English, I decided I'd rather enjoy it the way I prefer which means, BOOK PARTIES! I love to share my book obsession with anyone in a 20 foot radius of myself, which thanks to the internet, can include the whole world. To keep from scaring people away with my "enthusiasm," I decided to start my book club in 2006 as a way to share my love of reading a good book and talking about it like it's juicy gossip (because to me, it is!) I love photography, baking,  I love to eat, hate to cook, traveling, and reading in                                                                                    funny voices to my two girls, Kennley and Hazel.
Favorite Books: Sense & Sensibility, The Night Circus, Carter Beats the Devil, The Fault in Our Stars, The Forgotten Garden, His Fair Assassin Series, The Flavia Series and it goes without saying, the Harry Potter series.
I am a stay at home mom to my four wonderful kids. My oldest just turned 18 so I guess "kid" is a relative term but I do still have some little ones! My girls are 14, 12 and my youngest little man just turned 9. I love to golf, travel, eat out and of course, read.
I am sad to say I was not an avid reader when I was younger and in fact I didn’t get into reading until about ten years ago when I discovered that reading can be fun and enjoyable. What? Why didn’t I know this earlier?! I have wasted many years of not reading but I will not let my kids make the same mistake, we are now a reading family! I love this book club, it has become a big part of my life and I've enjoy every second of it!
Favorite Authors: Jojo Moyes, Colleen Hoover, Rainbow Rowell, Gayle Forman, Richelle Mead and John Green. I couldn't choose just a couple of books!
I'm Robin and I'm a book-a-holic. There. I said it. I write books. I read books. I decorate with books. I collect books. I stalk authors. I did start off normal, though. I received my Bachelor's degree in education from Brigham Young University and have been instructing children and young adults for thirteen years. When I'm not helping my students remember the quadratic formula, I lead a clandestine life as a wife and mother of five. Don't tell anyone, but I'm also an undercover marathoner, photographer, seamstress, baker, and repairman. Oh yeah, and I'm the author of a young adult romantic suspense, Remembrandt. If they had a breathalyzer test for book-lovers, I'd be well over the legal limit. Learn more about me and my books on my website.
Favorite Books: The Night Circus, The Heist Society series (I love cute and quirky YA books!), and Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare.
I’m an aspiring author with two different books in the works. I’m also a voracious reader of 40-50 books a year and a proud mama. Blurbs on my upcoming books:
REMality- An honorable man is exiled to a parallel existence accessed through dreams where he must fight to get his life back and uncover why innocent people in San Francisco are committing murder in their sleep.
Project Evie- A feisty woman discovers her fiancé led a double life when he’s murdered and she’s put into Witness Protection. Not only was he a criminal, he was also already married. Now Evie has to reinvent herself while trying to let go of a past she never knew she had—namely her fiancé’s wife.
You can get the skinny on everything else in my world on my website.
Favorite Books: Some of my all-time fav reads are: The Goldfinch, Night Film and Unbroken.
I'm a New York native transplanted to Utah, and a stay-at-home mom to my two young kids (Forrest is 4, Darcy is 1, and yes, there is a subtle nod to Austen in there somewhere, although my husband will deny it if you ask). Together, my husband and I own a chiropractic clinic in Orem, UT, and I blog at Maybe Matilda whenever I get the chance. I have a degree in English from BYU, and try to force my book love onto my children every chance I get. Besides reading, I love to bake and crochet, and try to offset my love of sedentary homebody hobbies with running (first half marathon pending).
Favorite Books: Peace Like a River, The Poisonwood Bible, the Harry Potter series, Ella Minnow Pea, Love in the Time of Cholera, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
As my name implies (and as a Native Southern Californian should), my love runs deep for the ocean, sand between my toes, and sunshine on my freckled face. I've only come over to the dark side {Utah} because it satisfies mine and my husband’s {extreme} frugality, the ability to pursue all my ba-zillion passions, travels and my obsession for the outdoors. When I’m not daydreaming about seeing a new country, adopting a new animal, geocaching, dancing, scuba diving, paragliding, hiking, sky diving, snowboarding, or relaxing with a much needed bubble bath and a good book, I’m back to the reality of changing diapers and figuring out my proud new titles of stay at home mother and photographer. Come find me at @summernicolephoto on Instagram and my website to follow my latest adventures.
Favorite Books: Harry Potter Series, Unbroken, The Fault in Our Stars, The Chronicles of Narnia, Game of Thrones, & The Twilight Series (I know, I know, but I love it!)

Howdy!

I love your site! Nice to meet you all and hear all of your wonderful stories! I did not grow up reading books, unless you include comics. Watched way too much television. Now i'm a book-a-holic and it drives my wife NUTS, but I can't help it!

My oldest son Benjamin, just finished his first book of the Boxcar children! I'm so excited. Reading is his strongest subject right now.

All the best

Benjamin Thomas
