Me Before You {Book to Movie}

Aaahhhh.... this book is amazing! After I read this book I went and found every other Jojo Moyes book I could find because I wanted to read everything she has ever written. Jojo Moyes is on my Top Five Author List and she deserves to be there. I heard they were making this a movie a while ago and I hope they do the book justice. It is an amazing story of love, life, trials, heartache, and bravery.
This movie comes out June 3rd
it is 150 minutes and rated PG 13

{Movie Synopsis}
A girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she's taking care of.

{Book Synopsis}
(Isn't the book synopsis just so much better?)

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

{Cast}
Really the movie is about these two

Emilia Clarke as Louisa Clark
If you are a Game of Thrones fan then you will know Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen.

She looks so different with super blonde hair. I am glad I know this first so that I wasn't wondering how I know her while watching the movie. Another movie she was in was Terminator Genisys, Her upcoming projects are: Above Suspicion, Voice from the Stone and rumored The Set Up
Check out the May issue of Glamour for all you need to know about Emilia. She is currently single and loving life right now.

Sam Clafin as Will Traynor

I'm not sure if I can look at Sam Clafin in this movie and not think of Finnick from the Hunger Games.

But he has been in other movies you have heard of such as: Snow White and the Huntsman and The Huntsman: Winter's War, Pirates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides. His upcoming films include: Their Finest Hour and a Half, and he is in another book to movie coming out in 2017 playing Phillip in My Cousin Rachel. Yay!!! He is married to Laura Haddock and they recently had their first child this year.

{Director Thea Sharrock}
This is the first movie that Thea Sharrock has directed. She has directed a couple of TV episodes but that's it. She has no other movies so far in the future. That might change if this movie goes well.

{Author Jojo Moyes}
Jojo Moyes has written so many good books. Some of my favorites are: One Plus One, The Girl You Left Behind and her newest sequel to Me Before You called After You

I really enjoyed this book also. It really made me think about questions we never dare ask ourselves and what it is that really makes a person happy. I'm nervous about the movie, but excited to see it.
