"THE GRAND SOPHY"
By: Georgette Hyer

LET'S START WITH THE AMAZING FOOD!

We've had several English inspired menu's over the years BUT we still seem to find new foods we haven't tried and I love that we continue to surprise ourselves!

Fresh Cucumber bites & individual "Toad in a hole" muffins.

1. Fruit Salad
2. Fresh raspberry fruit crumble
3.Asparagus twigs
4. and Pea salad
5. Strawberry English trifle (not shown)

{My messy plate of food that I did not set up correctly for a photo but thought it looked so beautiful and colorful.}

THE GROUP & OUR DISCUSSION:
{Kellie, Betsy and Karen}

{Melissa, Jenny, Bethany and our book Moderator, Jen!}

{Me, Rachelle, Mandi, and Kitch}

Jen did a great job of moderating this book by first discussing the author:

FACT: Did you know that Georgette Heyer has written over 30 romance novels?
 {Below is a just a sampling of a few of Heyer's other books.}

We then played a hilarious game where we had to guess what the below British English words translated to in American English!
Who knew that a "Jumper" was a sweater?!

Mandi and I were the quiz winners and received our delicious reward of British chocolate treats! Yum!

From there, we then dove into the discussion of "The Grand Sophy" which you can read more about from our review but you can see we had lots to talk about!

Thanks again to my book club for another delightful evening!

QUOTE: "You are shameless!” he said angrily.
“Nonsense! You only say so because I drove your horses,” she answered. “Never mind! I will engage not to do so again.”
“I’ll take care of that!” he retorted. “Let me tell you, my dear Cousin, that I should be better pleased if you would refrain from meddling in the affairs of my family!”
“Now, that,” said Sophy, “I am very glad to know, because if ever I should desire to please you I shall know just how to set about it. I daresay I shan’t, but one likes to be prepared for any event, however unlikely.”

Thus, it becomes difficult for a learner to achieve their objectives because they do not have enough time to research and write the papers themselves. The time to focus on mba essays is a big task website here. This is why most students see it as a challenging task. To make sure that you give your best effort to deliver a quality piece, it is advisable that you seek help from online writing companies.
