That's right, folks - It's National Read-A-Thon Day. Starting NOW! Now usually National Read-A-Thon Day is when libraries around the U.S. host Read-A-Thons from 12-4pm and help raise money for programs that promote reading (go to http://nationalbook.org to find out how you can make a difference by reading and pledging money). But today, we are asking our Delicious Reads friends to join in on the fun from home.
So give your kids a stack of books and pick up your own. It's cold outside (at least in Utah), so cozy up to the fire with your favorite book. Or if you're lucky enough to live in a warmer climate, go outside and enjoy some rays while you devour the last book in that trilogy.
