Food Ideas for "Murder on the Orient Express" {by Agatha Christie}

We had SO much fun reading and discussing Murder on the Orient Express, we highly recommend reading it for yourself or in your book club! I promise, you WON'T guess who the murderer is!

There wasn't much food mentioned in this book and the food that was mentioned wasn't anything we wanted to eat! So Jen took inspiration for our menu from the Fall season as well as a few comfort foods that she knew everyone would enjoy.

*All of the food that was prepared for our "Murder on the Orient Express" meeting can be found on the Pinterest Board at the bottom of this post. All the recipes are linked through that board to make things easy-peasy.

The official menu:

{Drinks}
We had the coolest drinks that each person mixed themselves. Each glass was provided with the ingredients needed for individuals to make their own Blood Shirley Temple.

All we had to do was add the orange juice to the Sprite then push the plunger to shoot the "blood" (cherry juice) into our drink.
SO COOL!!

{Sides and Salads}

Roasted Fall Veggies

French Bread

Homemade Spinach Artichoke Dip

Autumn Chopped Salad

Roasted Parmesan Green Beans

{Main Dish}

 Oven Baked Chicken Ranch Tenders

Cream of Mushroom Soup

Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup

{Desserts}

Candy Corn Jello Cups

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Cake Balls

Enough Talk, Let's Eat!

Even the dead need to eat when it's food this tasty!

Now, let the murder mystery BEGIN!
Part II of this post coming soon!!
